Addison

I can't believe my baby is turning 2!!! I think it is harder for me this time around because I know we wont be having anymore babies and my baby isnt a baby anymore.... she is officially a toddler :(
She is so SPUNKY (my nice way of saying she is a BRAT;) She is definately her own person and she knows what she wants and what she doesnt want and refuses to do anything she doesnt want to do. Hopefully these strong willed traits will make her a successful strong woman one day, but for now it makes her a really difficult toddler to deal with. She is VERY verbal and definately gets her point across! She loves to sing and is so smart (and I am not just saying that because I am her mom). This girl can talk... when we are in the car she tells me to turn the music off and she talks the whole time!
Although she makes me SO crazy some days.... I just love her to death. I love her attitude and her spunk and she makes me smile:) I can't imagine my life without my little brADDI:)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADDISON RAE!!!

Just another day around our house....

This is Aly's cat Annabelle... she is such a sweetie. She is always in the middle of what we are doing (I was cleaning the office).

She loves our new rug in the living room... and she looks pretty on it too :)

I have finally added some color to the living room and I love it! Our curtains are the reddish with the brown couch color at the top. The house is slowly coming all together.

After my hair cut the other day Ms. Alyssa decided it was time for her to get one (she has been asking for a while). She wanted to go shorter but we decided to take it one cut at a time. While Aly was getting her hair cut Addi suddenly looked down and the ground and pointed and shrieked "OH NO, my sissy hair broke, OH NO!!!!"... I tried to explain sissy was just getting a hair cut but she insisted it was broke!!!

She was so proud of her haircut she had a hard time not looking at herself in the mirror(thats what she told me). I think it makes her look older :(

Today Alyssa got promoted to the next level of gymnastics! Starting next session she will be moving up. She is really excited.

Addi was looking too cute today to NOT take a picture!!! Also she now thinks that my Itouch is HERS. When she sees me on it she scream "OH NO, MY BLU THING"... not exactly what that means but that is what it sounds like. HA!!

Aly came home from school today with her tooth barely hanging on. After her and daddy messed with it a bit it fell out... right into the couch. After pulling up the cushions they found it though!

Super proud!!!

The tooth fairy is going to be broke if she keeps this up! :)

Aly's Birthday Party

Today was so much fun! I took Aly and 2 classmates (Emma and Gabbi) for a girls day. We started at 10:30 and didn't get home til 4:30!! We picked up Emma and met Gabbi and her mom at Fudpuckers (a very touristy restaurant in Destin). The girls held an alligator and had so much fun ordering the same drinks and food (chocolate milk and fudpuppies- aka corn dogs). They were so giggly and fun to watch. Everywhere they went they held hands :)

Next we headed to Build A Bear. Gabbi and Aly picked Hello Kitty but Emma already had that one so she picked a unicorn. They had a really hard time picking outfits for them... they loved everything!

Next we headed to Johnny Rockets and the girls had a huge Brownie with Ice cream and whip cream.

Lastly we headed to a little park at the shopping center. I am pretty sure they would have played all day if I would have let them!

I still cant believe my baby is 6 years old. Time goes by way too fast... but I am very proud of the sweet natured little girl that she is :) It was fun to watch her interact with her friends... they already have another play date planned for tomorrow!

New year!

One of my goals is to update the blogspot more... who knows if it will really happen :)

We rang in the new year asleep this year. David and Alyssa spent most of the evening tugging at her loose tooth and it finally paid off! Alyssa pulled it out when she was laying in bed to go to sleep. She is very excited! The tooth Fairy left her $4 and left fairy glitter everywhere.

Tomorrow we will be celebrating Aly's Birthday with a couple of friends from her class. Going to have lunch, Build a bear, and some icecream. I will post some pictures tomorrow :)
