Seems like in a matter of a week Addison went from a baby to a big girl. She is now off the bottle (way easier than I expected) and is now in her new big girl bed (which also went pretty smoothly). I am very proud of her!
Addi is so silly... when she doesnt want her picture taken she closes her eyes.... kind of like I cant see you so you cant see me. HA!!!
Alyssa is doing really well. As she read me a book last night I was amazed at how good she is getting. I barely had to help her at all. At school their behavior chart is based on colors (Green is best, then there is yellow, blue and red). Alyssa is now the ONLY kid in the class that has been on green EVERY DAY of the year. I am very proud of her.
David left EARLY this morning for portland to do his out processing paperwork for his deployment. He will return late friday night or saturday. And he leaves wednesday the 10th for Norfolk, and leaves the following day for Afghanistan. I think this will be the hardest trip yet for the girls, mostly Addison. Me and Addi picked David up from work the other day and went to lunch, and as we left she cried "I NEED MY DADDY, I LOVE MY DADDY".... it broke my heart and I dread him being gone for 2 months. Alyssa, while she misses him, is kind of used to him being gone alot and seems to really understand. Of course she will miss him, but not like Addison.
In the meantime, we have been trying to have fun. We went to the zoo and out for icecream this weekend. Girls LOVE the giraffe and llamas :)
